Setting Up reCAPTCHA in Google

First, let’s head to the Google reCAPTCHA site. Open a new tab and type in ‘Google reCAPTCHA.’ Once you’re there, click on the V3 Admin Console Button to access the panel. Once you’re inside, you can either see a list of your existing sites or start fresh. Since we’re setting up reCAPTCHA for a new site, let’s click on ‘Create’ and Configure it.

  • Open a new tab and search for “Google reCAPTCHA.”
  • Click on the V3 Admin Console to access your reCAPTCHA panel.
  • click on ‘Create’.

Choosing reCAPTCHA Version

Now, here’s where a lot of people get stuck. There are two versions: reCAPTCHA v2 and v3. I’m going to choose v2 today. Why? Well, it’s a bit more secure and reliable for most websites.

I actually had a client who tried v3, but it caused some issues because multiple team members used the same Wi-Fi network, making the site mistakenly block them. That’s why we’ll focus on v2. Trust me, it’s less hassle!”

  • Choose reCAPTCHA v2 (recommended for stability).

  • After submitting, Google will provide two keys: the Site Key and the Secret Key.
